Glyphosate (Round-Up): Nutrients in plant are immobilized due to the reaction of chelating of minerals with Glyphosate. Let me repeat, the minerals in the plants cannot be used by the plant, transferred, or used by the fruit or the seed, so they will not be in the final product, our food. One of the characteristics of Glyphosate is binding, leaving inert all minerals for the life of the plant. This is also true for the minerals in the soil, and the plant’s offspring.
We look for solutions to the problems caused by the use of Round-Up on our food and feed crops. We do not know that the minerals the crops need to grow, which are usually available in the soil, are dead. They are bound and will never be in a form which these plants can use.
Glyphosate, shuts down defenses of the plant, and this shut-down opens the door, for an increase in pathogens. Glyphosate distributes itself within the plant and the soil, and 80% of it stays the life of the plant.

In developmental toxicity studies using pregnant rats and rabbits, Glyphosate caused treatment-related effects in the high dose groups including diarrhea, decreased body weight gain, nasal discharge and death. Glyphosate was introduced thirty-five years ago now thirteen to twenty million acres are treated with 18.7 million pounds of Glyphosate annually.
Round-Up Ready crops are found by University Studies to genetically reduce the efficiency of nutrient uptake. Glyphosate is also a growth regulator which stunts the plant in sterile soil. But, a plant in ‘field soil’ will be infected by soil pathogens compromising the plant. The disease ‘Sudden Death Syndrome’ (SDS for plants) is a fungus causing defoliation and relates exactly to the timeframe of the use of Glyphosate.
Glyphosate increase ‘drought effects’ causing loss of yield, and removes quality, while decreasing iron. Iron reduction is especially noticed in cereal crops.
These and other problems went unsolved and were never associated with the fact Glyphosate stops uptake of minerals from the soil by binding them in the soil. This causes the plant to have numerous problems. Think of a human with a compromised immune system, they are susceptible to multiple problems, this is the same with Round-Up ready plants, or plants sprayed with Glyphosate, due to the mineral binding.
For years and years crops have had new problems. Problems with rotation of crops, the crops root, leaves, chaff, fruit, health of their animals, including miscarriages, still births, sterile animals, early death, appearance of being old when young. The odd happenings always seemed to point a different direction. There never seemed to be an answer.
As time went on Don Huber was called out by farmers to their fields and was asked to visit sick animals across the nation. Farmers were at a loss. Some started an all out war against fungus due to Goss Wilt, Stewarts Wilt, and SDS.
Things changes when testing started and it was found magnesium was horribly low in the cattle which dropped dead. As more studies came to light it was found minerals were low due to the foods the animals were eating. The food was GMO. The food was compromised with mineral binding-Glyphosate.
Remember, this is the product which is inserted in the genes of GMO crops, a product which causes binding of minerals. So the animals were in fact only eating a shell of the plant, a shell which had no nutrients. They were starving. Around the same time Iowa State University preformed necropsy [autopsy] on the cattle and found them deficient of magnesium. All the problems which farmers had were from the same cause, whether the problems were with animals, or crops, the symptoms they experienced were from ‘nutrition deficiency’ caused from mineral binding-Glyphosate.
In this group of calves the studies show the stillbirth and malformed calves were found 100% deficient in magnesium and 63 other calves born were deficient in magnesium due to the binding of magnesium from the Glyphosate.
The US Cattlemen Association had to downgrade prime cows that had eaten GMO crops and corn to the category of old cow/infertile due to the graying of the fat and the atrophy of the muscle. They literally looked like an old cow inside. There are documents of pig’s stomachs with inflammation and 3 or 4 inch ulcers mirroring inflammatory bowel celiac disease and multiple pictures of squirrels and mice avoiding GMO corn, but, eating all the non-GMO corn stored in the same barn.
Chronic botulism was found in dairy cattle. After numerous studies and observations it was finally associated with the import of United States GMO soybeans. The US has also been sued the for reproduction problems due to mineral bound GMOs.
Some farmers use Glyphosate as a ripening agent. Don Huber explains 90% of the fruit will be abnormal. So make sure you are not buying product from the farmers which use this technique. He tells of the story where Malt companies refuse every load, of late grain, because the product used for ripening a pesticide [Glyphosate] kills the yeast in the malt.
The affect of the gene is nutrient deficiency with increased level of mycotoxins, left over from the herbicide. The allergic reactions you are producing are from your own toxins, an autoimmune reaction, which are being made in response from the genetic engineering/genetically modified organism (GE/GMO) of the pesticide-Glyphosate into most of the processed food we eat. Processed food made from these genetic engineering/genetically modified organism (GE/GMO) fruits and vegetables: Corn and Corn products, Soy and Soy products, Canola/products, Cotton/products, Papaya (Hawaiian and Chinese), and Crookneck squash.
So our bodies react to the toxins from the genes of the pesticide-Glyphosate from genetically engineered food we eat. Glyphosate is a pesticide and the genes we ingest are self-replicating and breakdown the flora in our guts causing the release of toxins. In addition, due to the binding of minerals by Glyphosate, we are not receiving the minerals which are usually supplied by the food we eat, the reason we eat. The GMO fruit and vegetables above will have their minerals bound. So we too are eating just a shell of a plant which is poisoned with the pesticide-Glyphosate.
Now with the kernels of corn having high amounts of toxin we now find the straw used as bedding, which has been raised as a GMO (like corn) or sprayed, is causing infertility in these animals. So the problem is no longer limited to root of the plant or the grain.
There is a direct correlation of Celia disease with GMO crops from Round-Up ready Canola, where 90% of all canola/oil in the United States is made with the pesticide-Glyphosate in each gene. Glyphosate toxin levels in wheat when ingested changes the flora in the stomach creating GMO toxic proteins, the GMO genes are producing and changing microbiology and biology.
Human Endocrine cell disruptors are directly associated with toxicity from the pesticide and growth inhibitor-Glyphosate. These substances “interfere with the synthesis, secretion, transport, binding, action, and/or elimination of natural hormones in the body responsible for development, behavior, fertility, and maintenance of homeostasis (normal cell metabolism), and are chemicals which interfere with endocrine (or hormone system) in animals, including humans.
These disruptions can cause cancerous tumors, birth defects, and other developmental disorders. Specifically, they are known to cause learning disabilities, severe attention deficit disorder, cognitive and brain development problems, deformations of the body (including limbs); sexual development problems, feminizing of males or masculine effects on females, etc.
Any system in the body controlled by hormones can be derailed by hormone disrupter. The critical period of development for most organisms is between the transitions from a fertilized egg, into a fully formed infant. As the cells begin to grow and differentiate, there are critical balances of hormones and protein changes which must occur. Please look at the labels of baby food. The soy, corn starch, corn syrup, tapioca, etc, etc are made from genetically engineered products whose genes are inserted with the pesticide-Glyphosate a known endocrine disruptor.
Therefore, a dose of disrupting chemicals can do substantial damage to a developing fetus (baby) whereas; the same dose may not significantly affect an adult mother, but, may cause cleft palates and hormonal system disruption. There has been a 600% increase in autism. There are uncounted spontaneous abortions, infertility, premature aging, Morgellan’s, cancer, endometriosis, IBD, Crohn disease, Alzheimer, Parkinson, MS, reproduction failure, chronic fatigue syndrome, and mineral-binding-Glyphosate nutrient deficiency.
The most common herbicide/pesticide in the air, in the water, and in our food is Glyphosate. It is also ingested in our food through the genetic engineering of Glyphosate in the processed food we eat. Processed food made from these genetically engineered (GE) fruits and vegetables: Corn and Corn products, Soy and Soy products, Canola/products, Cotton/products, Papaya (Hawaiian and Chinese), and Crookneck squash.
When Don Huber was asked about the likely future with GMO, worst case scenario, he has faith in the human ability to recognize consequences, although we are just at the tip of the iceberg, what we need is more recognition of the problems.
‘Round-Up ready crops’ are genetically modified so when they are sprayed with mass amounts of the herbicide-Glyphosate they will survive and all else dies. These are the Round-Up ready crops: Corn, Canola, Cotton, Soy, Sugar Beets, and Alfalfa. (along with Papaya and Crookneck squash).
Other crops which are treated with the pesticide-Glyphosate are the cereal crops. With late maturing heads in a wheat field, frost damage will be a factor. In many years the use of the pesticide-Glyphosate had brought wheat from a feed category to a number two grade wheat. This is a lot of dollars in the grain grower’s pocket. Also, with frozen cereal grains, the bushel wheat of the grain will drop. The lower bushel weights may cause a drop in grade. So they spray the pesticide-Glyphosate on the last crops in the field which dries down the grain. Grains which are affected are wheat, barley, soybeans, peas, lentils, canola and flax and it is used on sugar cane for early maturing. It seems we have Glyphosate from seed to sow in GMOs, or for bug or weed control as a pesticide/herbicide or for killing back of whole fields before the next planting, and as a dry-down.
So Glyphosate whether used as a: pesticide, herbicide, a Round-Up ready crop, or used as an ripening agent, drying agent in our children’s cereals, growth regulator, used in feed for animals (including domestic), or in human food, as additives in processed food, hidden in baby food as soy and corn derivatives (under numerous names).
We know it is a known Human Endocrine cell disruptor, it is known to cause nutrient deficiency from binding of minerals, it is known to increased level of mycotoxins.
Why are we eating Glyphosate in everything we eat? Why do we want to eat pesticide and cause health problems from empty food which is poisoned? Why do we want to kill our children? Why don’t you do something? The only choice you have now is to eat only organic or non-GMO certified food and this will be your only choice if you do not DEMAND LABELING!
It makes soil sterile and removes the nutrients and stays in the soil, a likely predecessor to famine. The genes we ingest from GMO crops are self replicating in our guts, so are the ones we release in the wild, which with the wind, the bugs, bees, and birds, becomes anywhere outdoors. It is killing our bees. It is killing milkweed which is the only plant Monarch caterpillars eat. Sugar beet is a genetically engineered crop and is used for sugar, unless the labels says cane, but remember Glyphosate is used in maturing the cane plant.
Monsanto has bought up most of the seed companies with the same genetic engineering in mind. Your choice is to by Heirloom ONLY!
The only benefit is the money for the greed of the genetic engineering companies, and the greed of our government, which includes thirty to forty United State government employees, people who have worked, back-and-forth, from our government’s regulatory agencies, to Monsanto, two to ten times.
So now you know more, and you can make healthy choices, you can share the information with other, which is the start of change. You can post about what you know. You can look at labels. You can call the companies while in the store and ask them if they use GMOs in the product you are holding in you hand. You can speak out as a consumer and tell cereal companies your child will not eat their cereal. Write to the editor of your paper, do research, talk to your governmental representative about GMOs I promise you he/she does not have a clue.
Research carried out by a team at Sherbrooke University Hospital in Quebec and accepted for publication in February 2011 in the journal Reproductive Toxicology found that the toxic Bt insecticide protein Cry1Ab, engineered into GMO crops, was present in blood serum of 93% of pregnant women tested. The Bt toxin was also presented in 80% of umbilical blood samples taken from fetuses, and in 67% of non-pregnant women. The researchers suggest that the most probable source of the toxin is GM food consumed as part of a normal diet in Canada, where GM presence in food is unlabeled. “To our knowledge, this is the first study to highlight the presence of pesticides-associated genetically modified foods in maternal, fetal and non-pregnant women’s blood. 3-MPPA and Cry1Ab toxin are clearly detectable and appear to cross the placenta to the fetus, given the potential toxicity of these environmental pollutants, and the fragility of the fetus, more studies are needed,” say the researchers.

European researchers at the University of Caen studied data on 90-day feeding trials on rats. They concluded that three varieties of GMO corn — Mon 810, Mon 863, and NK 603 — which were approved for consumption by U.S., European, and other food safety authorities — are linked to organ damage in mammals, including “adverse impacts on kidneys and liver, dietary detoxifying organs, as well as different levels of damages to heart, adrenal glands, spleen and haematopoietic system.”

The American Academy of Environmental Medicine, in May 2009, called for a moratorium on genetically modified (GM) foods, stating: “Avoid GM foods when possible . . . Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with GM food . . . There is more than a casual association between GM foods and adverse health effects. There is causation . . . The strength of association and consistency between GM foods and disease is confirmed in several animal studies.”
